Earlier this week Airtel revised its exiting prepaid plans and yesterday (January 23) Reliance Jio revamped its available plans offering more data to users. We have compared existing plans offered by both the telecom operators just to let you know, who is offering how much data and at what price.

Airtel is offering unlimited local and STD calling with 100 SMS per day and 1GB data in all for the period of 28 days. On the other hand, Reliance Jio is offering 1.5GB data daily with unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day for the period of 28 days under the plan.
Airtel vs Reliance Jio: Rs 199 plan and Rs 198 plan
Airtel is giving 1GB data daily under its Rs 199 plan along with unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days. While Reliance Jio is offering 2GB data daily with unlimited local and STD calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

Under the Rs 399 plan Airtel is giving unlimited local and STD calling, 100 SMS per day and 1GB 3G/4G data per day for the period of 84 days. While, Reliance Jio is offering 1.5GB data with unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day for 84 days in the same plan.
Airtel vs Reliance Jio: Rs 448 plan and Rs 448 plan
Airtel's Rs 448 plan offers 1.4GB data per day with unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS daily for the period of 82 days. Whereas Reliance Jio has a Rs 449 plan the subscribers will get 2GB data daily with unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day. The plan is valid for 91 days.
