Riddle № 1: 6 (hee-haw). The numbers represent the letters in the words that mean the noises of the animals. Cow — moo (3), dog — bark (4), cat— meow (4), chicken — cluck (5).
Riddle № 2: Turn on the 1st switch, wait for a couple of minutes, then turn it off. Turn on the 2nd switch, and walk into the room with the bulbs. Only one light bulb is on, and it’s connected to the 2nd switch. The light bulb connected to the 1st switch must be warm. The last bulb is connected to the 3rd switch.
Riddle № 3: Use a line to turn "+" into 4. You’ll have 545+5+5 = 555, or 5+545+5 = 555, or 5+5+545 = 555.
Riddle № 4: 48 eggs. One hen lays 1 egg in 3 days or 4 eggs in 12 days. 12 hens give 48 eggs in 12 days.
Riddle № 5: 38.
First row: 15+15+15 = 45
Second row: 4+4+15 = 23
Third row: 4+3+3 = 10
Fourth row: 2+3+3*11 = 38
